Marco Ragozzino is a writer/director who grew up immersed in filmmaking and illustration. As a child, he would spend much of his free time making adventure movies with sets fashioned from cardboard, a cast of classmates, and his dad’s clunky VHS camera.

Marco is an alumnus of the Dreyfoos School of the Arts in West Palm Beach, FL and continued his filmmaking education in New York City at the School of Visual Arts (SVA).

Marco recently directed CUT TO THE CHASE, a short film produced by Sony Pictures and its VFX company, Pixomondo. It has screened at festivals around the world, including an in-depth presentation at the 2026 SXSW Film Festival, and serves as the defining example of what can be achieved through advancements in virtual production technology mixed with good old-fashioned moviemaking.

His short MONDAYS AT THE OFFICE, has screened at several festivals, including Film Invasion LA and the Burbank International Film Festival, garnering critical acclaim and winning audience choice awards for Best Comedy.

MISFORTUNE, another of his short films, won the Genre Filmmaker of the Future Award and was optioned by Shout! Studios. It is currently available on Flamingo TV.

DEAD LINES, his horror comedy featuring a ghoulish cast of recognizable comedic actors, was licensed by Troma Entertainment and can be streamed on the Troma Now platform.

Marco is based in Los Angeles with experience shooting in New York, Vancouver, and the UK.
